SDS said the International Drill Quip product had good reputation in the industry and the merged structure would give customers access to one of the most complete ranges of hammer products on the market for both reverse circulation and conventional systems.
In order to generate synergies and cost savings, the Drill Quip manufacturing facility will be transferred to the SDS' Canning Vale facility over a period of time. The sale agreement is conditional upon outstanding issues that it is hoped will be finalised by June 30.
