Amadeus kicks off Texan drill program

Amadeus Energy has kicked off its three well test program in the Pitchfork Prospect, Texas.

Amadeus said the Toreador-1 well, located in Dickens County, was spudded over the weekend and will be drilled to approximately 4,400 feet on the initial prospects to test the Tannehill Sands. The company added the three wells will be drilled in quick succession.

The company owns a 25% working interest in the Pitchfork Prospect. Total acreage under option in the area consists of approximately 7,740 gross acres.
