Amity said the Yesiltepe Prospect, located close to the Mediterranean coast, "most likely" has (P50) recoverable resources potential of 270 billion cubic feet of gas and 140 million barrels of oil.
Because the prospect is located close to a large industrial area, Amity said a market for gas is not expected to be a problem.
Amity proposes to spud the well around the beginning of June this year.
