Jingemia testing slated for March 19

Flow rates of up to 2050 barrels (bbls) of oil per day were recorded last December during an initial production test that produced 18,500 bbls over 10 days.

Origin said oil storage tanks, load out facilities, roads and all associated earth-works have been constructed, and the majority of necessary statutory approvals have been obtained in preparation for long-term testing.

Jingemia is 24km south of the Dongara township and the prospect is a fault dependent closure very similar to the Hovea oil discovery 5km to the northeast.

Participants in the EP-413 Joint Venture are Pancontinental Oil & Gas NL, Origin Energy Resources, Hardman Oil & Gas, Australian Worldwide Exploration, Victoria Petroleum NL and Voyager Energy.
