Harriet JV spuds another offshore WA wildcat

The Harriet Joint Venture has announced the spudding of another offshore WA wildcat well. Tap Oil...

Tap said the structure lies down-dip of, and on the hydrocarbon migration pathway from, the Gipsy, Rose and Lee Oil and Gas Fields.

The well, located 11km south-east of Varanus Island and 19km south of the Linda Gas Field, is expected to take nine days to reach the proposed total depth of 3,025 metres.

Participants in the Harriet JV are Tap Oil 13.6063%, Apache Energy 73.6067% - operator, and Kufpec Australia 12.79%.
