The 14 day well is in 23 metres of water and being drilled from the West Cameron 352 'A' production platform, testing an approximately 2 to 3 bcf gross natural gas target at around 2500 metres.
The company said the targeted sand was hydrocarbon bearing in a well drilled in 1978, downdip of #A-19 but was not produced.
PSA has 100% working interest.
