Sole risk pays off for some Egret partners

All six partners shared the upper zone discovery - 5 metres of net gas and 24 metres of net oil - but only Woodside, BHP and Japan Australia LNG (MIMI) will share in the 8 metre gross gas column found between the 4794 metre to 4881 metre interval.

The higher pay zone was encountered in the Angel Formation and the partners planned to shoot the 3D Demeter seismic survey over the discovery later in the year to help further delineate the structure.
