The well, located in onshore Perth Basin production licence L1, is designed to intersect the Dongara Sandstone reservoir at a position some 490 metres to the south of the Hovea Production Facility.
The joint venture partners have also agreed to drill Eremia-1 immediately after completing the drilling of Hovea-5. The exploration well will target Dongara Sandstone located between Hovea and the adjacent Jingemia oil discovery.
