DRILLING

NZ follow up well spuds

Indo-Pacific Energy and its partners have started the strategic Kahili-1A sidetrack well in onshore Taranaki licence PEP 38736.

Kahili-1A is a follow-up operation to the Kahili-1 well drilled earlier this year when oil was discovered and produced from the Tariki sandstones. It will be deviated from the Kahili-1 wellbore in a southeasterly direction once a depth of 1050m or so is reached.
