The Brisbane-based company today said its reserves at the Moranbah gas project have jumped to 438.6 petajoules, up 47.1PJ, with Arrow’s share being 219.3PJ.
After accounting for full-year 2006 production, remaining reserves are 416.2PJ, a net increase to Arrow of 16.7PJ, according to the company.
The proven reserves in the Bowen and Surat Basins for Arrow are 81PJ, remaining recoverable. The 2P reserves are 498PJ, remaining recoverable, and net proven, probable and possible total 2780PJ.
The Moranbah gas project is held in equal partnership between Australian Gas Light and Arrow, which is also the operator and has the sole exploration, operating, and marketing rights over all of the underlying exploration tenement area of ATP 364P in the northern Bowen Basin region.
It is Australia’s largest coal seam methane project.
