Icon Energy

Icon Energy has advised that its Redland-1 well in the ATP 855 permit in the Cooper Basin is drilling ahead at 3700m.

The well is aiming for a total depth of 3800m, at which point the Ensign 965 rig will move to Etty-1, the last well in the drilling campaign.

A four-well hydraulic stimulating campaign will begin in the second quarter of 2014 and will include Geoffrey-1, Redland-1, Hervey-1 and Etty-1.

Icon owns a 35.1% interest in ATP 855 alongside operator Beach Energy (46.9%) and Chevron (18%).

Senergy

Senergy has announced it will relocate to larger premises in London and Jakarta due to an expanding global business portfolio and workforce.

The company provides integrated project and asset development services across the energy sector.

The London premises will initially support 60 personnel but the number is expected to grow to 80 in the coming year, with similar growth expected in Jakarta.

Senergy has a global talent pool of more than 700 people across offices in the UK, Scandinavia, the Middle East, Australia, Southeast Asia and the Americas.

WHL Energy

WHL Energy has completed the buy-up of old shares through its unmarketable parcel sale facility in a bid to reduce administrative costs.

With nearly 29 million shares, 1440 shareholders took part in the sale plan, while 850 opted to keep their holdings.

Shares sold amounted to $202,158, which will be distributed among relevant shareholders as soon as possible.

Unmarketable shares were held by 43% of the company's shareholders before the commencement of the facility, which amounted to approximately 3.5% of the fully paid shares on issue.

Statoil

The Snorre A well, which was closed down due to a loss of drill fluid, has been cemented and has had fluid returned.

The clearing of adverse weather allowed for unloading and a supply of drilling fluid to be delivered as well as the return of 117 staff to the platform.

Snorre A is located in the Tampen area of the North Sea.

BG Group

Workforce solutions provider Air Energi has been awarded a global framework agreement with oil and gas major BG Group.

The agreement will involve the supply of both permanent and consultant services to support BG's operations in Europe, the Americas and Asia as required.

Air Energi will supply personnel across the full five-year life of the project, which comprises exploration, appraisal, project execution and operations.
