Low oil swamps Beach profit

LOWER oil and gas prices have hit the bottom line of Beach Energy whose underlying net profit after tax plummeted 61% to just $35.7 million off the back of a net loss of $588.8 million, $75 million worse than the year prior despite record production, up 6%.
