Chevron denies tax avoidance in fiery session

CHEVRON Australia managing director Roy Krzywosinski flat out denied the big American oiler has avoided paying tax when grilled at a public Senate hearing in Sydney yesterday and disagreed with the Australian Tax Office's assessment on his company's conduct – but that didn't seem to sway the Senate committee chair.
