DSM wins first Woodside contract

Under the Woodside contract, DSM will undertake mooring and rig positioning services for semi-submersible drilling rig Ocean Monarch as part of the drilling campaign at the Julimar field on the North West Shelf.

DSM additionally said mobilisation and offshore operations had already started in May.

"This is our first contract with Woodside, and we look forward to developing a close cooperation going forward," DSM Australia managing director Barry Silver said.

"Winning this contract confirms the importance of flexibility and local presence, with availability of equipment and personnel.

"We are very pleased that our unique advanced technologies and equipment specifications are highly appreciated by key industry players."

Last week DSM said it won mooring and rig positioning services contract from Quadrant (formerly Apache Energy). That work was for NWS-based semi-submersible and jack-up operations.
