SEVEN Group Holdings might say publicly that it has no intention of swooping in and snapping up controlling interests in Cooper Basin juniors, but the group is still quietly buying up shares in oil and gas producers, moving from a 3.8% interest to an 8.01% substantial holding in Drillsearch Energy, that must set off alarm bells in managing director Brad Lingo's office.
