The news, included in the company's annual sustainability report, indicated that the company had 71 reports of improper behaviour or breaches of the Woodside's code of conduct, which every employee gets trained in annually.
Of the allegations 43 were substantiated, 21 unsubstantiated and seven matters remain under or pending investigation.
Eight employees had their contracts terminated, with seven of those for fraud-related offences.
Thirty-six matters involved harassment or other inappropriate behaviour, resulting in 29 written warnings and a reduced performance rating issued, two received only written warnings and four workers were given verbal warnings.
There were no legal findings against Woodside in relation to harassment, discrimination or equality in employment in 2014, and no violations of anti-bribery and corruption laws were detected in connection with the company in 2014.
Last year the company enhanced its training to more extensively address the requirements of the company's anti-bribery and corruption policy.
Woodside said in a statement that it has a zero-tolerance approach to unethical behaviour.
Woodside is a member of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, a global commitment to transparency of payments in the resources sector that requires it to report all petroleum tax and fee payments in EITI member countries where it operates, which include Timor-Leste, Gabon, Cameroon and Tanzania and soon Myanmar.
Woodside reported significant improvements in its health and safety performance and a significant reduction in flaring.
It also launched the $20 million Woodside Development Fund, which aims to improve outcomes in early childhood.
Increasing mid-career professional development and graduate opportunities for women will be a focus in 2015 as the company fell just short of its gender diversity target for women to hold 13% of all middle and senior positions, at 12.4%.
The company is now also listed as a sustainability leader in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.
