Ezra's subsea services division will complete the work, providing project management, engineering, transportation and subsea installation of an electro-hydraulic steel tube umbilical, two heavy lift subsea manifolds flying leads and jumpers.

The company will also take care of the procurement, fabrication, transportation and installation of diverless tie-in spools for the project.

Julimar and its sister field Brunello are set as suppliers to Chevron's Wheatstone project, with Woodside recently acquiring Apache's interest in both areas. The deal on that one is set to reach financial close by the end of the quarter.

Ezra has begun the project management and engineering work, with the offshore execution expected to start around mid-year.

Ezra's heavy lift and multi-lay deepwater construction vessel Lewek Constellation will be used for the job.

"I am extremely encouraged by the level of interest the Lewek Constellation has generated from the industry and we expect that it will continue to drive the subsea business forward with our work schedule extending well into 2016 and beyond," Ezra CEO and managing director Lionel Lee said.

The deal follows the company's now-completed works on the Coniston field development project, also for Apache, and a recently awarded multi-year North Sea frame agreement.
