Decmil wins QCLNG extension

The ongoing contracting framework includes field logistics, elements of material supply and provision of construction and management services.

The win, which is initially estimated to be worth $65 million for 2015, is an extension of the existing framework contract with QGC and has been awarded to the group's subsidiary, Eastcoast Development Engineering.

The contract extension will allow Decmil move from project phase to operational phase, supporting QGC with wellhead construction, logistics, material management and a range of construction services for 2015.

Decmil CEO and managing director Scott Criddle said the contract extension confirmed the company's "strong relationship" with QGC and further demonstrated its ability to deliver projects to the upstream CSG industry.

"Decmil now has an established mechanical capability and we look forward to expanding our presence in the operational phase of upstream CSG, including in maintenance and other related services," he said.
