Former Monadelphous manager fights fraud claims

According to the Gladstone Observer, Bruce Alfred Little was accused of ripping off Monadelphous of more than $A30,000 from mid-2006 to March 2010, with the case entering the trial phase yesterday.

The prosecution reportedly claimed the manager used project budget surpluses to fund work on a swimming pool and deck along with other improvements for his property in Clinton.

He was also reportedly accused of fraudulently using company equipment and employees' time to complete such work, with witnesses due to give evidence today.

Little has pleaded not guilty to the fraud charge so far.
