Ausco launches new accommodation model

The "plug & play" model will allow companies to arrive and stay at a camp for one stage of a project, then pick up and move in as little as two days.

Ausco Modular director strategy and business development Ben Knight said the camps would provide critical accommodation infrastructure to support projects where low camp mobilisation costs were critical.

"A standard plug & play camp has an installation turnaround of around two days, compared to several months for a traditional camp install," he said.

"We have the time to hone our offering and believe we can now provide the highest-quality mobile accommodation in the market."
