The institute's Henderson campus has been used as a venue for skills and trade assessments for tradespeople heading to the project.
More than 280 pipe welders, boilermakers and pipefitters have undertaken written and practical assessments using the Henderson campus.
The assessment ranged from three tests over half a day for pipefitters and a day for boilermakers to as many as five tests lasting up to three days for more complex pipe welding applicants.
The assessment program at Challenger was one of the first in a series by CKJV to be held in major centres around Australia.
Challenger Institute applied engineering director Greg Guppy said the program was an exciting collaboration that demonstrated how the institute's facility was equipped to help industry sectors with a range of training and professional services.
