This includes a new 3200 square metre facility in Midvale, Western Australia, and the extension of its training capability to include a physical rigging and lifting frame; a process pipework pressure rig; a full stock of hose and fittings and manufacturing capability for its hydraulics operations.

"The Australian hydrocarbon market is in the midst of massive investment and development and we recognise its importance as a key sector in shaping the growth and success of EnerMech," managing director Doug Duguid said.

"The considerable investment we have made in infrastructure and in recruiting the best possible management and support staff, underlines our commitment to supporting the leading oil and gas exploration companies and contractors."

He said EnerMech now had more than 40 full-time staff in Australia and expected its business to more than treble in the next two years.
