“Origin Energy Resources Limited and the BassGas Joint Venturers have agreed to settle the arbitration with Clough Limited in relation to the BassGas Project. As a result of the settlement the proceedings between the parties will be discontinued.”

Clough’s statement was even briefer.

“Clough Limited today advised that it has reached an amicable full and final settlement with BassGas Joint Venture in relation to the BassGas contract,” it said.

That was the full extent of the statement.

PetroleumNews.net was unable to contact Clough or Origin spokespersons this morning.
