The Perth-based company yesterday said work is underway to conduct a clean-up flow of Eremia-7, in production licence L1, before tying it back to the Hovea–Eremia production facilities.
Arc said analysis of the logging information indicated the well had intersected the Dongara Sandstone reservoir at 2050.5m true vertical depth sub-sea, about 12.5m high to prognosis and 2.5m above the previous highest intersection in the field.
From the full logging suite, Eremia-7 is interpreted to have intersected a total original oil column of 24.5m, of which the lower 10m appears to be partially swept by previous production from the field.
“Eremia-7 is another successful well in the Perth Basin drilling program that together with the next well, Jingemia-11, will ensure we are able to meet and hopefully exceed our production targets,” managing director Eric Streitberg said.
“Once Jingemia-11 is completed we will be moving to exploration drilling targets in the Perth Basin, prior to commencing the Canning Basin exploration program.”
The company said the rig is now being moved from the Eremia-7 site to Jingemia-11.
Arc and Origin Energy each hold a 50% stake in L1.
