Marine pipeline engineering technology workshop

A FOUR-DAY course in Perth next month will give an up-to-date overview of marine pipeline enginee...

The marine pipeline engineering technology demonstration forum will give a complete picture of the work of design engineers and pipeline construction companies, using actual case studies from around the world.

It is applicable to engineers from oil and gas companies, construction companies, pipe and service suppliers, regulatory authorities, who are newly qualified, have recently moved into piepline engineering, or hold broad responsibilities that include pipelines.

The technology workshop is organised by the Australian Pipeline Industry Association (APIA), Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA) and the Welding Technology Institute of Australia (WTIA).

It will be held from September 12-15 at the Grand Chancellor Hotel, Wellington Street, Perth.

It will be presented by Profesor Andrew Palmer of Cambridge University and Dr Roger King, an independent consultant, co-authors of Subsea Pipeline Engineering, published last year by Pennwell. All delegates will receive a copy of this book as well as other course material.
