AGC and FMC team up to tackle Enfield's subsea

Fabrication works are currently being carried out at AGC’s facility at 15 Beach Street, Kwinana, Western Australia.

AGC said the agreement was further endorsement of its capabilities as a leading fabricator in the oil and gas industry, both nationally and internationally.

The $1.5 billion Woodside FPSO is scheduled to begin operations by 2006, producing an estimated 100,000 barrels of oil a day.

The Enfield development is about 40km northwest of North West Cape and roughly 50km north-west of Exmouth. Water depths in the area range from 400 to 550 metres.
