Asian pipeline tenders up for grabs

Indonesia’s PT Gas Negara (PGN) has announced a tender for several pipeline projects forming a part of the South Sumatra-West Java Gas Pipeline Project (SSWJ).

The utility is seeking firms interested in the Pagardewa-Labuhan-Maringgai pipeline, the Labuhan-Maringgai-Cilegon pipeline, the Cilegon-Imagist pipeline, the West Java Distribution Pipeline, and the SSWJ Compressor Station. All bids for the five projects are for a pre-qualification stage.

India’s Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd has also issued a global tender notice. It is in the market for an Engineering and Project Management Consultant for the Loni-Sholapur pipeline project. All bids for this must be in before 25 May 2004. Bid documents will only be made available between 12 April to 30 April.
