Jurong rolls out MODEC FPSO

The Sembawang Corporation-owned Jurong Shipyard has rolled out another FPSO for the MODEC Group.

The construction of the 356,400 dwt FPSO Fluminense, which will be leased to Shell International from FPSO operator MODEC International, was on schedule according to SembCorp Marine.

MODEC and Shell International congratulated the shipyard for outstanding performance and in meeting the very tight and challenging delivery schedule.

It was the sixth FPSO conversion Jurong has completed for MODEC.

"The successful conversion of the FPSO Fluminense marks another milestone for Jurong Shipyard and strengthens the long-standing relationship the shipyard has with MODEC," said the President of SembCorp, Tan Kwi Kin
