Funds raised from the placement will provide further working capital for Novera, and to progress the development of several renewable projects and opportunities in the UK.

One of Novera's existing major shareholders, Utilico Investment Trust, underwrote the entire placement of $6.5 million, subscribing for 8 million shares in its own right and underwriting the balance of 18 million shares, which were placed with UK and Australian institutional investors.
