Gas explosion blamed on junkies

An explosion at a pipeline at Faizabad, which caused massive traffic jams between commuters of twin cities, has been attributed to drug addicts lighting a fire. Work on the pipeline is still ongoing at press time.

Gas explosion blamed on junkies

According to the general manager of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd, Ismaeel Paracha, "The explosion occurred when some drug addicts lit fire near a leaking gas pipeline. Repair work is underway and gas supply is expected to be restored by Friday."
