The one day event is hosted by a number of sector specialists and covers drilling, production, exploration, transportation (pipelines) and refining. It unravels some of the intricacies and processes behind the industry, and is ideal for those who appreciate learning more about the rest of the oil and gas supply chain.
For those readers to whom oil and gas drilling reports are a mystery - spudding, mud, fishing tools etc - the day will provide a valuable educational experience.
Presenters include a range of local and international companies in the industry such as Epic Energy, BP, Apache Energy, APPEA, Petrotech, Agip Australia and the University of WA.
