SHG opened this morning at 23 cents and by press time had dropped back slightly to be trading at 32c.

SHG shareholders approved the placement to US-based Samson International two days ago of five million options, reinforcing the Samson's stake in Sunshine.

Sunshine director Jeremy Towner said there was nothing new in the market but the rig was on site at the Overston discovery and perforating was due to start tomorrow.

"We've got a gas resource worth around $260 million and we're worth around $15 million.

"We've been telling our story around and finally it's starting to sink in," he said.
