Perpetual Trustees Australia became a substantial shareholder in AlintaGas on the 1st May 2003, with a relevant interest in the issued capital of 11,535,357 ordinary shares (7.21%).

Stephen Gerlach has acquired an indirect interest in another 5,000 Santos ordinary shares, at $5.57 per share, taking his interest in the company to 37,305 fully paid ordinary shares.

Stephen James Phillips made two purchases of additional shares in Advanced Energy Systems. The acquisitions, equalling 51,500 shares takes his total holding to 8,363,729 shares.

Five directors of Interoil have traded 15,000 options for common shares at an exercise price of $US11.50. The directors include P E Mulacek, Christian M Vinson, Roger N Grundy, Gaylen Byker and G Michael Folie.

Barclays Global Investors Australia Ltd became a substantial shareholder in Alintagas Limited on 30/04/2003 with a relevant interest in the issued share capital of 9,726,809 ordinary shares (6.08%).

WA Gas Holdings Pty Ltd and United Energy Ltd decreased their relevant interest in AlintaGas Limited on 07/05/2003, from 72,000,000 ordinary shares (45%) to 36,000,000 ordinary shares (21.429%).
