The North Pedirka prospect, to be drilled as a deviated well from the Victoria Complex surface location, is 2.1km north of the Victoria Platform and is mapped as a low relief four-way dip closed anticline at the top Flag Sandstone level.

The company has continued to take pressure readings from the Gipsy-3 well, also currently being drilled, over the hydrocarbon shows to establish the nature of the reservoirs and hydrocarbon type.

The Gipsy-3 well intersected a number of sandstone reservoirs each up to 10m thick over a 170m interval within the North Rankin, Brigadier, Mungaroo "A" and Mungaroo "B" Formations.

The partners in the venture include Tap Oil 12.2229%, Apache Energy (operator) 68.5% and Kufpec Australia 19.2771%.
