Located in TL/6, 8km south of Varanus Island, Hoover-2 has been successfully drilled into the Flag Sandstone oil reservoir and production casing is currently being installed.

The well was batched drilled, with the previously reported oil discovery well North Pedirka-1, from the Victoria Platform located 2.7km to the west. The well will now be completed for immediate production.

The discovery is now the fourth success out of five wells for the joint venture with only the Felicia-1 well being plugged and abandoned.

Harriet Joint Venture participants include Tap Oil 12.2229%, Apache Energy (operator) 68.5% and Kufpec Australia 19.2771%.
