Amity to list on German stock exchanges

Junior oil and gas explorer Amity Oil will today be listed on two German stock exchanges. The company said today's listing follows an application earlier this month to be dual listed on the Berlin and Frankfurt stock exchanges.

Chairman of Perth-based company, Richard Elliott, told EnergyReview.net that no further stock will be issued and the listing was a small step toward marketing the company in Europe.

Mr Elliott added that Germany is home to a sizeable Turkish population and given Amity's drilling and exploration focus in Turkey, this too influenced its decision to list in Germany.
