Advanced Process Control Engineer (Sydney)
Our client a leading player in its industry and a listed on the Australian Stock Exchange has a number of exciting openings for Advanced Process Controls Engineers, in its Design Develop Implement and Commission Advanced Control Dynamic Process Simulation and On-line Optimisation Projects.
Manage projects, Project Engineering, Documentation and give assistance were needed.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in engineering. Will have working knowledge of multi-variable model predictive control, optimisation, VMS UNIX and DCS systems. You will also have worked in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industries.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 5 years experience managing quality in the oil and gas industry
Formal auditor training and auditing experience
Solid understanding of ISO9000:2000
Experience in providing quality related training
Strong inter-personal and communication skills
Computer literacy
DUTIES:
Manage all aspects of quality in the division
Support all hydrocarbon division projects
Maintain adequate resources to manage quality
Conduct project and office function audits
Support Project Quality Managers to introduce and maintain effective systems on projects
Act as Project Quality Manager on minor projects as required
Provide quality input into tenders and supplier packages
Must be prepared to rotate between the division office and Projects
Must be prepared to travel in support of projects and to conduct
training and audits
Develop and maintain a culture of "doing it right"

Ideally you’ll be a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Engineer mainly focussing on Construction of Petrochemical Plant Facilities. Your experience will encompass project planning and controls, estimating, procurement, sub-contractor establishment and administration, plant commissioning and cost reporting. You will also have experience in structural steel, piping, pumps, vessels and compressors.
Experience working with SAP and project planning software is desirable.
